Let Sophos tame your WWW, (wild wild web) traffic...
For our organization, Sophos security solutions for web content control, and endpoint security is an effective solution pairing. The Sophos integrated security solution allowed us to resolve users from venturing into unsafe web space, with use of DNS blocking (resolve only names via categories etc.) These features allow less false positives and better web content control for users to browse Internet searching with less fear of intrusion of unsafe web sites (non compliant).

Sophos has been a much easier product to configure and eventually manage, with preset rules and policies to start off right out of the box, saving administrators time from adding every category and or site. However you can add/import all know good company sites (internal url's) as well as local sites for a safer settings. (know sites)

It helped to block the access to the websites for particular network group. User can easily upload the policies in order to secure the organization data from malicious sites. It played a key role in cyber security by adding and removing the policies easily. It also audited the sites accessed within organization.

Sophos Web Filtering at a Glance
Sophos Web Content Filtering is used along all our organization, since it supplies a wide range of features and categorization. What really helps for us IT Managers/CTOs/Everyday Admin is to be able to add categories and work around what users try to bypass, the SWCF, helps even filtering SSL and putting straight forward administration through its console.

- Initial Setup Guide could be more detailed
- WebGui Interface, needs some smoothness
- More simple models (in the hardware version) for smaller organizations to be able to implement this system
- Super positive impact, the Sandstorming Add On, it increases protection at it's maximum level (for new or existent/variant threats).
- Customers often have the need of a system capable of report everything that the network is being handed, Sophos Web Content Filtering achieves this.
- The ROI is very fast since top management quickly see results on filtering and reporting of what is really going on within their networks.
We select Sophos (all of their product line) because of the awesome tech support and level of Next Generation commitment to deliver to us as representatives to give to our end users. This is mainly why I will always recommend Sophos products. There are many brands that offer similar technology, but for us, the only product that delivers post service support, is always Sophos.
